Primetech never reached out to any mayor labels, because his style was in his own words
“unpolished” and to raw for the industry, but he still felt like he had to be heard.
Struggling with his identity not just as MC but also as an person he was always looking for guidance.
Needless to say like all of us he wanted to know who he was. Luckily he never stopped writing,
and in 2009 he met up with Mark and he finally received the guidance he had searched for.
Mark had just graduated as an multimedia designer and he heard a couple of tracks prime had written
and recorded with his group back then called “Black Rose” in honour of his late cousin
Remie Goethart who was murdered in 1997.
Mark saw something in P’s rawness and the two would work together on different occasions
but it wasn’t until prime changed his style up and focused that they formed a click.
